Bio.
Snailbones of the Pacific Northwest, was formed in 2017 as an outlet for its three members, a way to relieve stress amid the political turmoil at the time. It continues to be that. Unrelenting and uncompromising, they channel their defiance of fascism through the only means they know: their music and live performances.
Their self-produced debut, Tinnitus Alrightus (2022), was a raw introduction, a collection of songs from their earliest days. Originally created as a personal keepsake for just the members, it ended up becoming their first official release. Keelhaul ’em All (2022), though recorded during the same session, marked a clear turning point, hinting at the direction the band was heading.
But it’s their 2023 album, Erroneous Harmonious, recorded by the late great Steve Albini that fully realizes their vision: emotional, political, and unfiltered themes backed by weird and sometimes ugly sounds. With no focus on using their music for profit, Snailbones remains fiercely independent and committed to releasing music that satisfies the members while continuing forward on their own terms.
